When cameleers meet at the campfire after a long and straining journey, they tell each other stories about cities in the middle of the desert, from hidden oases, and flying carpets. A versed cameleer will of course not whistle-blow the exact location of these precious places, but if you can .read. the desert, you will find them anyway. And with the help of a powerful jinn, you may rearrange the location to your own benefit - or to the disadvantage of someone else.

Players move their caravans through the desert in search of these marvellous locations not telling the others what they discovered. But if you make use of such a location, you automatically reveal some information about it. For instance, if you trade in a desert city the other players will roughly know where the city is. Object of the game is to find three artifacts, or to buy them with the gold you earn.

You will find cities, oases, caravanserais and artifacts. Knowing where they are is very beneficial when you equip a caravan. Do you still remember where they were?

During the 15th and 16th centuries, the great royal houses of Europe sent explorers and conquerors all over the world, hoping to discover and secure new areas of influence and sources of wealth. Without the right naval vessels, these voyages would have been impossible. But even the incredible wealth of the royal houses could not sustain these expeditions for long. So they were happy that private entrepreneurs were ready to finance these expensive journeys. Now your king has come to offer you the opportunity to invest in the great voyages of famous explorers like Columbus and Magellan. You will need to purchase a fleet of ships, and assign them to the most successful expeditions. Of course, you will need a lot of money! To earn money, you must fulfill trade contracts. Can you balance the needs of trade with the demands of the great explorers? It is time to seek wealth and glory in the Age of Discovery!

It's the 19th Century, and you have come to the lush tropical jungles of Amazonas in search of rare plants and animals. You must explore the twisting paths and waterways, leading your expedition from one village to another. Each village offers an opportunity to establish a new outpost. But beware the Amazonas is not for the timid! Fearsome crocodiles lurk in the tepid waters of the rivers, and hungry jaguars stalk the twilight paths. Do not shy from such dangers too long, for the cost to build a new outpost increases the longer it takes you to reach each new village. Your funds are very limited, so speed is essential. Your sponsor has also sent you a secret directive. You must fulfill the demands of this special mission, or you will lose much of your newly earned fame! Can you face the dangers of an unknown jungle and earn fame and recognition? Or will another explorer surpass you on the way to glory? Find out when you enter the land of Amazonas!

The Anasazi tribes lived in the middle west of America and built their settlements mainly in the caves of canyons. Strangely and yet unexplained all the settlements were abandoned in the 13th century. It took a very long time until the cities and their treasures were discovered, as they were hidden in canyon walls and difficult to reach. The players game of skill take part in different expeditions and try to discover the treasures of the different Anasazi tribes.

Journey forth from the homeland, which produces wood, stone, tools and cloth, from which to build ships used in the acquisition of resources. Resources enable you to increase your population and develop your settlement into a city. Be prepared for pirates as you strive to aquire wealth and power.

Antike is a challenging strategy game about evolution and competition among ancient civilizations. Ancient nations create cities, build temples, sail the seas, and discover new principles of science and technology. Their legions and galleys open new settlements and defend their people against attacks from their enemies. Two scenarios can be chosen as the game board is two-sided. Players choose from Greeks, Romans, and Germanic tribes and Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Persians, Arabs, Egyptians, and Babylonians.

Every nation tries to win ancient kings, scholars, generals, citizens, and navigators for themselves. The nation that acquires a specified number (depending on the number of players) ancient personalities first will win the game!

Thunder on the Prairie!

In Bison every player is representing a native American Indian tribe. Aim is to settle in an area rich of bison, fish and turkeys. The tribe need bison as food and clothes (leather), they need fish for food and the turkeys and their feathers for rituals and adornment. The players catch bison, fish and turkeys and keep the score as markers on their own overview board. The animal markers are used to survive, to explore new land and to buy canoes and tents at the market. The player who has the most animals wins the game.

With that cry prospectors race westward and Boomtowns are established—the gold rush is on. In Boomtown, you must compete with your fellow prospectors in a mad scramble to find your fortune in gold, but watch out for highwaymen, card sharks and crooked politicians. There are many ways to make a buck in Boomtown.

Aim of the game: The players are prospectors, trying to find gold and get rich. Every turn, mining concessions are auctioned. Then gold is found on some concessions, depending on the die rolls. Players can also act as highwaymen, tavern owners, and politicians. Through many means are fortunes won. At the end of the game, the player with the most influence, the best mines and the most gold wins.

All hell is loose near the port. Many of the pirates are casting jealous glances at the riches in the large trading ships which lie at anchor. And so plans are being made to get the lucrative booty.

The motley teams are quickly put together and it is decided which ships are to be relieved of their treasures and ducats.

But even the strongest captain must take care, as each pirate wants a proper wage for his work. If the booty is too small and the pay too high, the captain will have to pay his team out of his own pocket and that may cost him victory at the end.

Caveman is a survival game where your objective is to become the dominant tribe on Volcano Island. It's a harsh world, where marauding dinosaurs cause chaos, other tribes attack you, and you struggle to keep your cave kids survive into adulthood. Players start from the corner spaces of a hexagonal island, and slowly spread out over the island, looking for resources to help them survive and prosper. The winner is the first player to expand their population from two to eight people, or the first player to have collected all the available resource types, or the player who has made the most progress when the action card deck expires.

It's AD 42 and Britain is ripe for invasion by Claudius' legions. You are a young Celt on the brink of adulthood and you have visited the High Druid who has foretold your destiny. In this game each player attempts to win by gathering victory points and fullfilling their destiny. Along the way you'll improve your abilities, trade with settlements, complete quests and help enchant the land. The game uses double sided hextiles so each game is different.

An old Irish legend tells of the hero, Chú Chulainn, who gathered 10 brave men together to drive the enemy from their land in a great battle. After returning home, he gave each of his followers a magic amulet. Each amulet was similar: the 9 outer parts were identical, but the middle part of each was different, making it possible to distinguish one from the other. The amulets brought their owners and their offspring respect and wealth.

When the Vikings conquered the land, they destroyed the amulets, scattering the parts of each throughout the land.

The players take the roles of adventurers in 11th century Ireland, who seek to recover the parts of the amulets and put them back together.

Five druids have pledged to help you in your endeavor. The player who finds parts and puts together the most amulets will win the game and become the new Celtic king!

The south sea, AD 1777! Three years after James Cook visited the islands, the islands are embroiled in a contest for possession of legendary shrunken heads. The players’ only desire is to acquire these “head attractions” for shipment to museums in Europe. Although the islanders are very interested in trading their treasures with the European for the glass beads they offer, their traditions require that such exchanges be done during a special KAWA ritual.

Thus, the players must submit to this ritual by playing against each other with their beads for the prized shrunken heads. The winner will leave the island with the treasure. The losers may remain to provide further treasures.

Together, the players first build the map of the fjords, adding their houses in strategic locations as they build. When the map is complete, the players claim territory, trying to block their opponent from as much as possible, while securing these areas for themselves.

The player with the most territory wins the game!

Garibaldi: La Trafila is a boardgame that makes you live the events accured in the august 1849, near Ravenna (Romagna, Italy), when Garibaldi, hunted by the Austrians for fifteen days, succeded to hide in valleys and in pine forests to reach salvation. A player is Garibaldi in hiding, the others are the Austrian patrols hunting him. Garibaldi wins if he succeeds in reaching the safe point and can run away, otherwise the Austrian patrols win if they catch Garibaldi.

In turns, using the cards, it's possible to move on the gameboard, a big-sized board that reproduces accurately a map of the territory at that time. The player who controls Garibaldi, with the help of a special screen, makes his moves secretly, while the other players have to work together to stop the moves of the escaper, trying to find him.

Players will place or replace triangular tiles to create different landmasses (islands, shorelines and continents) which may or may not be conducive to the creation of a civilization, and which may create war among two or more civilizations, or force the migration of one civilization to another landmass.

Scoring takes place when players cash in one of their scoring tokens, by playing temple tiles, or by the drawing of Epoch tiles.

At the Pole Penguins jump from ice floe to ice floe hunting for fish. They block their Penguin rivals whenever they can while trying to secure the best fishing grounds.
