Sevenoaks Settlers Tournament II

This is the second Sevenoaks Settlers Tournament, held at the stately venue of Otford Manor (TN15 6XF). This year's event will take place on Sunday 18th July, 2:30-6pm.

All are welcome to join in, regardless of experience: we'll play 3 easy-going games (standard Settlers of Catan, 3-4 player); with the four highest-scoring players from the first 2 games playing for the victory!

It'd be great if participants could bring a packed tea and stick around to eat it out at the front of the manor by the pool, enjoying the pool and the panoramic views over the valley.

UK Games Expo 2010

UK Games Expo 2010 runs from 4th June to 6th June, we had a 24 foot stand there on the 5th and 6th. Unfortunately at this event we won't be able to demonstrate any games.

After a successful event we anticipate being back at UK Games Expo in 2011.

Telford Mini-Con 2009

Telford Mini-Con was a successful one day gaming event which took place at Ellerdine Village Hall near Telford on Saturday 18th April 2009. It ran from 10am to 10pm and there was no entrance cost. We are planning for a Telford Mini-Con 2009 but have not sorted out dates and venues yet.

Games

We'll be running Board and Card Games but if you want to come and encourage others to play your favourite RPG or TCG then feel free.

We will arrange a small library of Board and Card Games which may be borrowed during the event.

Attending

Ellerdine Village Hall will accommodate around 60 people and you will need to contact Telford Mini-Con to reserve a space as we will have to limit numbers.

Refreshments

There are limited kitchen facilities at the venue, however tea and coffee will be available. There won't be food on the premises so you will need to bring something to eat, though there are also some good local pubs if you wanted to visit them. We'll add details of these shortly.

Traders

Games Lore Ltd will run a small stall with a limited selection of games at the event, if you want a particular game then it might be safer to let us know in advance.

Location

Ellerdine Village Hall is located just off the A442 between Telford and Market Drayton. The full address is Ellerdine Village Hall, Heath Lane, Ellerdine, Telford, Shropshire TF6 6QT. For location details please see Multimap

Whilst the Village Hall has adequate parking spaces it is not on a Bus Route nor close to a Railway Station and a car / motorbike is going to be the most practical method of transport. If you do want to come and wish to come by train then there is a limited ability to collect people from Telford Train Station around 9:30am, please let us know if you would need this and we'll see if it can be arranged.

Games Library

We are trying to arrange to have a variety of Board and Card Games available to borrow from our Games Library. We don't yet have a full list of what might be available, but if you'd appreciate a particular game being available then please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
