Arena Maximus is a chariot racing game filled with thrills, spills, and spells for 2-5 players.

In a remote land there lies a region with undulating hills and fertile valleys. Widely-travelled settlers have laid the foundation stone for the city of Arkadia. In addition to several other buildings, they want to construct a magnificent castle on a hill. Four wealthy families – the cloth merchants, the spice merchants, the carpenters and the silversmiths – want to enhance prestige and augment their influence. For this reason, they compete for the major contribution to the castle’s construction. Players act as architects. The four families commission them to plan and realise the build-up of the town and the castle.

Since its initial publication in 1989, Ave Caesar has developed a cult following like few other games. It is well known for its quick and exciting play. The game represents the famous 1672 pirate-led jailbreak from the fortress of Cartagena. It is said that a game celebrating the great escape became popular in the pirate coves of the Caribbean. Each player has a group of 6 pirates and his objective is to have all 6 escape through the tortuous underground passage that connects the fortress to the port, where a sloop is waiting for them.

In the first Cartagena game, the players, as pirates, attempted to flee prison by making their way through a tunnel to a boat waiting for them at the end of the tunnel. But simply reaching the boat does not mean they have escaped as re-capture is always possible, perhaps, even likely. They will not be really safe until they reach their Pirate's Nest on Tortuga.

Each player leads a group of pirates to Pirate's Nest on Tortuga.The path leads the pirates through wild jungle and across the waters of open ocean to the island of Tortuga. In addition to the innate perils of the trip are the other pirates, as each group wants to be the first to arrive at Pirate's Nest and will do what they can to slow the others' progress. As soon as one player has all his pirates in Pirate's Nest, he can raise the Jolly Roger and win the game.

Do you have trouble winning at racing games. Well, this game is for the losers out there. Yes, to "win" the game, you have to pick the horse which comes in last. Sounds simple, but, of course, the other players are trying to lose as well.

The crocodiles are loose in the luxurious hotel swimming pool! Just seconds ago, the vacationers were enjoying the cool water of the pool, but what is that? A crocodile has just entered the pool - and now there is one less swimmer! Wow! Theres another croc - and another - and another. As the number of crocs in the water increases, the number of swimmers drops! But, the crocs hunt not only the hapless swimmers, but also other crocodiles. Thus, all in the pool strive to save themselves! The player who brings the most swimmers and crocs to the safety of the end of the pool, will win the game!

Adventure in Dragonland! The dragons hide their treasure in the numerous volcanos, but their treasure is in danger - the volcanos will soon erupt! To save the treasure, the dragons have asked the dwarves, elves, humans, and magicians for help. Each group competes with the others to be the most successful at gathering treasure for the dragons.

Using strategy and cunning, each player moves his group of companions from volcano to volcano collecting treasure. All their movements are under the control of the tower of destiny, which sometimes arranges for a companion to reach his destination a bit too late....

Climb aboard your trusty steed and lift off for the race of your life! The players race their dragons on a course in a deep and winding canyon. You have some magic to use to aid your cause, or hinder your opponents, but the real test is your skill at maneuvering your dragon through the course to reach the finish line ahead of the others. Players choose their speeds on each round secretly, but then must move at that speed, even if other dragons or canyon walls are in the way.

The movement system gives players more maneuverability at lower speeds than at higher, so you cannot turn your dragon on a dime unless you are going very slowly - an important consideration in those hairpin turns!

The track is made of two-sided tiles, so players can design their own races and change them every race to keep things fun and exciting!

As inventors at the Edison Company, players work in teams of two to influence the outcome of driving tests on new vehicles. They try to get their favorite vehicles to the best spaces on the track at scoring time. Remember your part of a team!

A simple race using the common types of elvish transportation: dragons, unicorns, giant pigs, elfcycles, troll wagons, magic clouds, ferries and rafts. You select your own route to match your resources. The one to visit the most towns will win the game.

One player is the ghost and the others the ghost chasers. The chasers try to capture the ghost and the ghost tries to elude then in this exciting game. The chasers can cooperate, but only one can win. If the ghost eludes capture until the end, he wins!

The riding event of the season has just begun! Five promising racehorses race along the course. The racing cards determine the speed. However, the race does not always go according to plan, because some of the horses push their way through and thrust others aside in their determination to win. Players who tactically use their cards and have luck on their side will win the race by a head.

The game of the legendary race between the hare and the tortoise, but with a twist. Each player plays both parts during the race. At times you need the hare's speed, at others the tortoise's caution. The best combination of these two will win the race.

Players race their explorers across the Bering Strait from Alaska to Siberia - riding ice floes, dodging polar bears, and collecting useful items en route. The first to arrive in Siberia with their three explorers is the winner!

Each player is an ice skater at the annual Ice Lake races.

The game board is a picture of Ice Lake. Players move their skaters across the lake, leaving cracks behind them. If a skater is ever completely surrounded by cracks, he or she is out of the game.

The goal is to be the last one skating.

You take on one of four characters and race around a junkyard that's made up of different surfaces, mud, grass, tarmac and a stream with various bridges crossing it. Collecting junk on your way round that you use to either add to you go kart to improve it, like turbo, jets, tyres, chainsaws, mallet-wielding robot hands and more, or things that you leave on the road to frustrate the other drivers, like springs, acid, oil, glue, time bombs and much more. You assemble your cart from junk that you collect once in a pit stop and when you have jets or turbo fitted you can exchange any fuel that you have for extra dice that give you a boost around the yard. You can lose parts of your kart if hit by an explosion and you can be slowed down if you start on grass or a bridge and even stuck in mud. Winning is a matter of passing the finish line to win cola bottles.

Run Kitty Run! In Kitty Chaos, four kittens have made a daring escape from the clutches of the evil City Pound, which snatches the felines from their owners and sells them to the fatal fur trade.

Now they must make their way back through the suburban streets to their loving owners. Unfortunately, their trek is troubled with danger; from vicious dogs to malicious kids, these furry felines have a chaotic adventure in front of them, as the pound van doesn't give up its chase along the way. Loop and turn, dive and roll -- execute four flight programs using these four maneuvers. Roll the dice and bank around your fellow players. The high point? You alone determine the requirements of your programs.

Each maneuver is played as a card with its own degree of difficulty. The higher this value, the harder it is to roll success; but then of course, success will be worth more points. After four programs comes the crucial free-form segment, which is exciting up to the very end.

The Governors have important messages that must reach the Czar as quickly as possible. Because the Governors live in provinces in the far reaches of the empire, a Governor must be clever and a little lucky to be the first to get his message to the Czar, winning his favour and the game.

The players each send several couriers on the long and convoluted trip to the Czar's palace. Along the way, the couriers travel from village to village through swamps, forests and mountains. In each village, the couriers check in to one of the inns and spend the night. Who will win the race and the favour of the Czar? Will it be the Cossack that first reaches the palace? Or the lady, who best plays her role and bribes the guards for victory?

In the wild rapids of the Niagara River, fearless canoers battle the water and each other to collect gems along the riverbank. Of course, the most valuable gems are found furthest down-river, close to the waterfall. Yes, there is a waterfall, and careless canoers can fall over the waterfall. Also, players must return collected gems to land in order to be counted. At the end, the player who collects the most value in gems is the winner.

Players play on a 3D board, representing the Niagara River and the falls. Canoes float down the river as the river flows, but players can row their canoes up-river or down-river to collect gems, to return them to shore, and to avoid the waterfall. This game is great fun for the family, but is strategic and gives players the chance to plan and steal from one another.
