About The Game
Zoo Tycoon Board Game: New Shores Expansion Deluxe Edition adds 34 new animal species (232 silkscreen printed meeples) to the game with a focus on aquatic animals, the Australian wildlife and the polar regions of our planet.
This edition contains the Additional Species Pack with 8 additional, exciting species represented by 90 silkscreen printed animal meeples like the cheetah, the okapi and the platypus.
Watch the zoo of your dreams come true, right in front of you.
Zoo Tycoon Board Game: New Shores Expansion has a strong focus on the 3 new biomes tundra, dry forest, and water. New Shores also introduces new game mechanics without making the game unnecessarily complicated.
Reptiles function differently from other animal orders in the game. They lay eggs (the sex can be chosen by the player) and they need heated reptile houses instead of the usual retreats to stay cozy and warm.
Zoo Tycoon Board Game: New Shores features a double-layered modular animal exchange. With this unique game board, you can mix and match old and new species for endless combinations of zoo fun.
The expansion "New Shores" needs the base game to work!
