The Syndicate Taskforce is currently Earth's largest supplier of energy; led by a cabal of the most influential oligarchs in what remains of Russia - they have brought the concept of recycling to a whole new level. Since the shortage of strategic materials like uranium and plutonium, large parts of the industry became salvage operations, plundering what they can rather than producing anything. They concentrate their efforts on searching abandoned military bases, shut down power plants and nuclear missile silos all over the world, stripping them of anything of worth.
