Museum Of Board Games
Hidden away in Newent in the Forest of Dean, UK, between the M5 and Wales lies a museum like no other in the UK. Newly moved to a larger unit the Museum of Board Games has been lovingly put together over the last many years by Tony Boydell.
It's possible you've never heard or come across Tony Boydell but he's designed a decent selection of games, probably most notably Snowdonia but his output is far more than that. What's he designed - go to BGG and check it out for yourself.
As well as holding a job, being husband, father and grandfather Tony also finds time in his busy schedule to blog prolifically, the Everyone Needs a Shed Blog is now over 5,000 posts and represents years of observation, humour, game reports and puns - yes, don't forget the puns.
The Museum of Board Games has moved to a new site, across the courtyard from the original site, giving more space to display the exhibits and allow for a wider range to be displayed.
If you'd like to help support the Museum of Board Games then I'm sure that Tony would love to have you join his ongoing Patreon campaign.
