19.09.2026 PRE-ORDERS SPOTLIGHT - MECHS VS MINIONS

Our Spotlight series continues today with a new entry, albeit a bit different from usual.

This is not exactly a new game, rather a reprint of a cult classic.

League of Legends.
Runterra.
If these are terms that sound familiar to your ears, look no further, the search is finally over.
If they don't carry a wealth of expectation for you, keep reading...you are in for a treat!

For years this was the game you couldn't find. Out of print since 2020, climbing on the secondhand market, passed around as the co-op campaign everyone had heard about and nobody could buy.
Out of print for six years, it's back for its 10th anniversary.

We are talking about Mechs vs Minions!

Most board games promise that decisions have consequences. Mechs vs Minions is the rare one where consequences have consequences, and that's the best part of the night.
Each round you draft commands, sequence them into a program, and watch your mechs execute exactly what you told them to do, onto a board that has already shifted underneath you. The first round goes roughly to plan. A few rounds in, someone is laughing. Then everyone is. You're not panicking; you're improvising together!
Mechs vs Minions is a game that reaches the table in under fifteen minutes and goes away in five.
Sixty-minute missions. Drop in or out between missions. Strategic enough to plan, light enough to laugh through, welcoming enough for the friend who rarely plays.
No League of Legends knowledge required. Runeterra is the setting; the game stands on its own.

As the old saying goes...Come for the plan. Stay for the punchline.

Mechs Vs Minions: Bandle City Edition

Mechs vs. Minions is a cooperative tabletop campaign for 2-4 players. Set in the world of Runeterra, players take on the roles of four intrepid Yordles: Corki, Tristana, Heimerdinger, and Ziggs, who must join forces and pilot their newly-crafted mechs against an army of marauding minions. With modular boards, programmatic command lines, and a story-driven campaign, each mission will be unique, putting your teamwork, programming, and piloting skills to the test. This Bandle City Edition comes with Acrilyc standees and bases and cardboard tokens.

Mechs Vs Minions: Classic Edition

The 2016 original, back in print: 106 miniatures, custom metal coins, engraved dice, and a working sand timer. For the collectors who spent five years looking. Ten-mission cooperative campaign. Components that earned it cult status: hand-painted sculpted mechs, a hundred hand-washed minions, metal coins, a sand timer that actually runs. Draft commands, sequence them, and watch your mechs carry them out onto a board that moved while you were planning.

Mechs Vs Minions: Unpainted Miniatures

The four Yordle mechs as sculpted miniatures, primed and ready for your brushes. Works with either edition of Mechs vs. Minions. The Bandle City Edition puts the mechs on the table as acrylic standees. This set gives you the other option: Tristana, Corki, Heimerdinger, and Ziggs as the same sculpted miniatures found in the Classic Edition, delivered unpainted with a primer base coat so you can paint them your way.
