With the skies getting greyer, the temperature colder, and the days shorter, we feel the call to stay snuggly at home and play some board games more than ever!

In this week's Pre-Orders Hotlist we have titles that will keep you around the table for a very long time!

Nemesis Retaliation

Nemesis: Retaliation is the third installment of the Nemesis horror board game series. Like the first two, it is designed as a standalone game. This time, players take on the roles of highly trained marines, entering the alien nest with strict orders and the most advanced tools available. But will they be well-prepared enough to face the unrelenting horde that awaits them? In Nemesis: Retaliation, players must survive against overwhelming odds and the possibility of betrayal at every step.

Nemesis Retaliation The Xyrians - A New Enemy Race

The Xyrians are independent faction that brings a whole new dimension to your gameplay, blending unpredictability with strategic depth. Xyrians are creatures that resemble octopuses, and they have an advanced blending technology that lets them hide in plain view. This is why, during the game with Xyrian, you will be adding their Tokens - but you can never be sure whether this is only an old trace or an actual Xyrian until you step into this room and investigate.

Maestro

In the bustling Italian city-states of the early 1500s, art was not only beauty but power. Workshops competed fiercely for prestige, fueled by the rivalry of great masters like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti. Artists labored tirelessly to create masterpieces - from sweeping frescoes to marble statues - each work a statement of skill and vision. In Maestro Michelangelo and da Vinci's workshops compete for fame and aristocratic attention in various courts and galleries across the Italian peninsula. During the game, the two workshops are either represented by a single player or a team of players.

Tianxia Board Game: The Silk Road Expansion

Tianxia: Silk Road expansion introduces a new scoring opportunity at the end of each round. This scoring depends on the number of exchange actions they do, the scoring condition shown on the Caravan tiles, and the outcome of the Battles. There is also another threat the players must consider - the Pirates attacking the east coast.

Windmill Valley Duel

The sun rises over the tulip fields in the valley, where tall windmills stand against the horizon and ships wait to carry your blooms across the sea. In Windmill Valley Duel, two rival horticulturists compete for prestige, wealth, and victory by cultivating the finest tulips, investing in powerful enhancements, and claiming the most strategic ports in this vibrant and picturesque land. In this valley, you are not alone. Your windmill's gears interlock with your opponent's, forcing every decision you make to send ripples through the land while setting your rival's plans in motion. Will you offer them an advantage to gain the edge you need, or will you wait for the perfect move?

Mimir's Challenge

Each player commands an identical army made up of Vikings, Valkyries, Wyrms, and Ravens. Using strategy and foresight, you'll compete for area majority across the mythical Norse realms! At the start of each round, armies are placed face down, keeping your plans hidden from your opponents. Once everyone has finished placing their units, all armies are revealed at the same time. Then, it's time for special actions - clever moves that can shift control of a realm at the last moment. After three rounds, players tally their points from collected treasures and forge powerful Norse artifacts for bonus points.

Making Monsters

In Making Monsters, players take on the role of mad scientists competing at the Monster Maker Science Fair, where only the most brilliant and bizarre creations will earn prestige and fame. Each round, players secretly choose how many monster parts to order - hoping to outwit their rivals and gather the right materials. Then, using a push-your-luck bag-building mechanic, players simultaneously draw and assemble monster parts, trying to complete powerful creatures before their lab experiments collapse. Build too cautiously and fall behind, but push too far and your monster might fall apart in spectacular fashion.
