08.08.2026 PRE-ORDERS SPOTLIGHT - HORROR ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS

Our new ongoing series continues today with its third entry, where we focus our attention on a pre-order title and all its expansions!

Eldritch horrors!
The Roraring Twenties!
Sanity loss!
Luxury travel!

We are naturally talking about two of the most recognisable symbols in the collective consciousness of the beginning of the last century: H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos and the Orient Express.
So, what happens when you mix them? The answer is a nightmare-inducing, brand new board gaming adventure, where the Call of Cthulhu's TTRPG experience (and more specifically, the acclaimed modern classic Call of Cthulhu: Horror on the Orient Express) is distilled in board game format.

In this cooperative game, you and the other investigators try to survive on the doomed luxury train. To win, you must hunt out the cultists hiding among the passenger, and stop them from performing a hideous ritual and ensure the train reaches its destination. Each of you controls a character who can develop new skills, gather items, talk to the passengers, discover clues, and, ultimately, decide the train's fate.

Horror On The Orient Express Board Game

Horror on the Orient Express: The Board Game lures you into the luxurious Orient Express in the 1920s, taking you on a dangerous train ride into the realm of the Dreamlands. Everything is against you, from monsters attacking the train to murderous cults hiding among the passengers. Worst of all, an eldritch, blood-thirsty vampire hunting down everything that moves. Horror on the Orient Express: The Board Game brings the Call of Cthulhu horror and mystery TTRPG into the board gaming world. Special rules, ongoing character development, and play pieces provide a challenging and exciting gaming experience.

Horror On The Orient Express Board Game: Investigators Unveiled Expansion

Investigators Unveiled Expansion turns every character you meet in the base game into a playable character. Suspects from the main game can now be played as Investigators, bringing it up to a total of 10 playable Investigators for you to choose from. Moreover, it works both ways - with this expansion every Investigator can be also turned into a Suspect. Every game can have a completely different set of possible cultists!
