XCOM: The Miniatures Game Core Rulebook is a solo and co-op adventure wargame that will place you in charge of XCOM and its Operatives, or go head-to-head in player vs. player, or Alien Commander mode!
XCOM: The Miniatures Game Core Rulebook recreates the classic battles from the XCOM: Enemy Unknown video game on your tabletop. This is an adventure wargame based on Five Parsecs from Home. In the campaign, you play battles against increasingly challenging Alien invaders. You will need to recover alien resources, develop new technologies, and build out your XCOM base, gaining experience, new powerful weapons, and technology until you are ready to take on the enemy in the final battle for the survival of humanity.

Create your squad of rookies then promote them through battlefield experience. Choose their class: Assault, Support, Heavy or Sniper, Psi Operative, and MEC Trooper, each with special abilities! Follow XCOM's campaign through to the final battle, generating one of 33 Standard, Story, Exalt or Special Missions such as Combat Patrol, Terror Site, Skyranger Down, UFO Crash, Base Assault, and many more, including a three part tutorial to learn the rules. Build and expand XCOM headquarters, recover alien resources, research new technologies, and build powerful new equipment to outfit your operatives, including the SHIV.
Player vs. Player squad rules plus Alien Commander mode where one player controls the Aliens vs XCOM in the campaign. A full armory covering all the essential XCOM gear, alien and new technologies including Gene Modded and MEC Troopers.
