About The Game

Stag follows the life cycle of beetles - a game of planning and resource management, culminating in a social deduction showdown where you can lose it all if you're too greedy! Players plan their actions using their action tiles, then resolve them simultaneously. The aim is to score the most points by progressing your beetles through their life cycle, going up the trait track and fulfilling personal and universal objectives. This is the Deluxe edition: same rules and game box as the standard version, but with the components you touch throughout the game replaced with wood - resource tokens, point markers, and trait tokens - plus resource trays, cotton bags, and the screen-printed central beetle. In a game where you move tokens for two hours, that's a difference you can feel at the table.
