Le Cardo Word Game

The aim of LeCardo is to make compounds or idiomatic phrases, e.g. bedside, break-in, time out etc. As in the examples above, hyphenation and spacing are allowed. Each compound / phrase made must be in relatively common use and must be agreed on by all players.

Scores are calculated after each move, and are produced by adding together the value of all compounds made. Where two or more compounds are formed with the same card, the points for that word are added according to the number of compounds made. At the end of each game, the scores for each player are totalled up, minus the value of any cards remaining in the player's hand.
