Battleground: Second Punic War Basic Game

Two centuries before the birth of Christ, the greatest general of his day led a small army over the Alps and nearly broke the power of Rome. Now you can recreate Hannibal’s triumphs at Cannae and Trasimene, or reenact his defeat by Scipio Africanus at the battle of Zama.

This is the first historical expansion for the award-winning Battleground system. Battleground: Historical Warfare can be played as a stand-alone system but is fully compatible with Battleground: Fantasy Warfare so your historical gamers can recreate the battles of Cannae and Trasimene or else see how well Rome could have resisted an invasion of Orcs!

The starter decks for both Rome and Carthage come in the Basic Game along with a comprehensive rulebook.
