Vampire Counts

From their castles and towers the Vampires, immortal rulers of the evil Undead, raise vast legions of zombies and skeletons. Summoning dark creatures and ethereal beings from beyond the grave they march against the living of the Old World.

The Vampire Counts of Sylvania are a perilous threat to the civilised lands of the Old World. Lusting after power over mortals,Vampires are deadly foes that summon Undead hordes of Skeletons, Zombies and Crypt Ghouls to wage war upon the living.

The Vampire Counts Battalion boxed set can either be used to provide the core of a new army or it is an excellent way of expanding your current army with some of the great new models. This box set contains: 20 Skeletons, 10 Ghouls, 20 Zombies and 1 Corpse Cart.

This ghostly apparition is driven by an insubstantial Wraith and pulled by two grisly Nightmares. The legends say that if the creatures are destroyed, the Coach can continue to move under it's own power. During battle the black coach crashes into unit after unit, feeding of the life of those it slays, growing more powerful. This box contains one complete Black Coach.

Creating a Winged Nightmare is the pinnacle of achievement for a master of the necromantic arts. It is a massive creature assembled from powerful creatures such as Manticores, Griffons and Hippogriffs. A Vampire is formidable enough, but when mounted on a flying beast, none are safe from his wrath. This box contains one complete Blood Dragon mounted on Winged Nightmare.

Blood Dragon's do not try to raise huge armies, preferring forces consisting of Wight men-at-arms to act as hideous parodies of the retrinues of mortal nobles. Better armed and armoured than their unmouted counterparts, they are the perfect bodygard for a Vampire. A blister pack contains one random Black Knight.

Wights are armed with evilly enchanted weapons, the Wight Blades. The blades have the ability to suck the very life from the Wight's victim. When accompanied by a comand group the already considerable longevity of these undead warriors is increased further still. This blister contains either one standard bearer or one musician.

The Blood Knights are the most fearsome knights in all the Old World. Their training and discipline in life is married with the unnatural speed and strength of Undeath. This metal box set contains 5 Blood Knights.

When Vlad unleashed the armies of Sylvania upon the Empire, between the trudging crowds of Zombies and the ranks of Skeletons could be seen the disgusting Corpse Carts. Driven by macabre, shrouded figures, these wagons are made of rotted wood, rusted metal and diseased flesh, heaped with writhing body parts. This multi-part plastic kit contains 1 Corpse Cart.

Crypt Ghouls are ugly, stooping creatures with only a vestigial sense of reason. Their skin is dark and filthy, their eyes bestial and insane, and their snarling lips reveal sharp-pointed teeth in their slavering mouths. This multi-part plastic kit contains 10 Crypt Ghouls.

The land of Sylvania is plagued by giant wolves, the men of the Empire hunt these beasts mercilessly, but this is not always enough. The carcasses of these wolves are buried in great pits, but the cursed earth of Sylvanis does not allow them to rest... This multi-part plastic kit contains 10 Dire Wolves.

Upon the walls of Drakenhof Castle and other Vampire haunted keeps of Sylvania patrol tireless warriors clad in ancient armour and wielding glowing blades. These dread sentries are the Grave Guard - Wights drawn from their ancient tombs to act as guardians for the Vampire rulers of Sylvania. This multi-part plastic kit contains 10 Grave Guard.

There are few things more dangerous than a violent lunatic, but one of them is an immortal violent lunatic with the strength and speed of a Vampire. Quite what possessed Vlad to bestow Vampirism on the insane Konrad, rather than simply cutting off his head, will never be known. This blister pack contains 1 metal Konrad von Carstein.

While Vlad von Carstein was the most physically powerful of the Vampire Counts, Mannfred was certainly the most cunning. This blister pack contains 1 metal Mannfred, Count of Sylvania.

Even in death there is no rest for the warriors of the Old World. All these once-dead fighters can recall of their mortal lives are faint memories of battles fought long ago, they form the main stay of any Vampire's forces, equipped with a wide array of weapons, they are as versatile as they are expendable. Although their bodies have decayed, Wights are held together by evil magic so strong that it can last for centuries. They wear ancient armour of bronze and black iron, corroded by time and dusty with the years. They are often gifted with unholy magical banners, increasing their combat abilities further. This blister contains one Wight standard bearer, champion and musician.

Vampires are incredibly powerful Undead creatures. Unlike most of the Undead, Vampires retain all of their intelligence and will, and hence all of their ambition and desire. This makes them very dangerous indeed, for they can continue to grow and learn, spending eternity perfecting their skills and honing their plans and schemes. This blister pack contains 1 metal Vampire Lord.

Within every Vampire lurks a predatory creature, driven to feed on blood time and again. There are a few Vampires who embrace their thirst, who allow the bestial hunter within to take over. These are the Varghulfs - blood-mad killers that exist only to feed. This metal box set contains 1 Varghulf.

Zombies are corpses brought back from the dead by foul necromancy. Whilst slow and clumsy individualy, their necromantic overlords drive them into battle in their thousands, hoping to exaust the armies of the enemy. Zombies units can range from 10 to 40 figures in size. The regiment box has 20 Zombies including a command group.
