Settlers of Catan 4th Edition launches in 2007 and brings new artwork, exciting additions to the actual game components to improve set-up time, organization, and even board stability during play. First, a two sided interlocking sea frame, which cuts in half the time needed to set up the game board. It also ensures that the board will stay firmly in place during the entire game. Second, a plastic tray has been added to hold the all game components in place and keep them organized for your next game. Last but not least, durable and high quality plastic dice.

The 4th edition of The Settlers of Catan® (Settlers-2007) provides an outer frame that encloses the 19 hexes that make up the island of Catan. This adapter kit provides that frame, the frame extension pieces for the 5-6 player extension, and the harbor pieces that allow you to vary the harbor locations from game to game.

This adapter kit also allows you to use the Catan: Seafarers® 4th edition with 3rd or pre-2007 editions of Settlers, MFG483).

The Settlers of Catan 5 - 6 Player Extension includes extra pieces for 2 additional players and these can fit in the plastic tray included in the new Settlers of Catan box.

This introductory set groups tiles together for easier setup. Unlike the standard version, it is not expandable. Note that Games Lore recommend customers opt for the standard version of Settlers of Catan rather than this product!

You rule one of those Barbarian hordes. Your noble tribe is strong, but rival princes stand in your way! Are you wily enough to outmaneuver them? Will you have enough wealth from plundering to found your own kingdom? Your fate is in your hands: civilization is ripe for conquest! Will you forge a mighty new kingdom? Will you be the one to inherit the storied glory of Rome?

Elasund? the little settlement on the coast? Well, those days are long gone. Elasund is growing rapidly and Catanians are streaming into the city, eager to make a fortune!

You are appointed to help the city develop. You heed the call to drive the city’s growth and prosperity.

Hire workers, acquire building materials. What will your next build be? The competition is eager to excel and claim all of the credit!

Each player has a set of buildings to place. Placing a building uses an whole wagon load of resources: 1 each of wood, bricks, and wheat.

The roll of the die determines how far the wagons will move. When any child stops beside a resource that they need, they can load the resource into their wagon.

When your wagon is full, you get to build a new house! The house must be placed in the right spot in the village. Then the resources are returned to the board so they can be collected again!

After you build all your houses, you begin collecting resources again to build the Town Hall. The player who builds the Town Hall wins the game!

Of course, children are also encouraged to play with the wonderful wooden buildings by themselves, and to create their own games and adventures in Catan!

Settlers of Canaan takes place in the territory of Canaan off the coast of the Great Sea. Each Player represents a tribe of Israel as they seek to settle the land of Canaan. The time period of the game spans the time of Joshua's conquests of Canaan (Joshua), the turbulent years ruled by judges (Judges) through the choosing and crowning of King David (I & II Samuel).

You never give up! Despite the long journey to your new homeland, and the loss of everything you owned, you have made it: you are a settler of Catan!

You begin with nothing more than your own two hands, and each day will bring you a host of new experiences and adventures. Hunting bears and wolves?

Building trunks and furniture? Working hides and skins? Not a problem for you!

But soon you grow tired with simply roaming the island. Your goal is to settled down with a roof over your head, sheep to breed, and a field to sow your grain. To do this, you will need the help of the other settlers in the village. Easily done! If you supply a sword to Jared, he will give you a bag of seeds in return. Osmund needs a new chest, and offers you some sheep.

Candamir would like new windows and can help you build your new house.

Again and again you head out for the wilderness, hunting bears and wolves, collecting honey and rare herbs. But you must be cautious! Hungry bears and wolves are no laughing matter, poisonous snakes hide in the grass, and behind some tree lurks a savage robber!
