The Travel Version of the popular Abalone game, take it with you!

Abalone is a two-player strategy game. Each player starts with fourteen black or white marbles on a hexagonal board and they must attempt to push six of their opponent’s marbles off the board and out of play. Players can move up to three marbles at any one time--horizontally, vertically, diagonally, forwards or backwards across the board. The attacking player can only push an opponent’s marble when he/she has a greater number of marbles in a row than that of his/her opponent. Therefore, three marbles can push two, three can push one, or two can push one but not vice versa! Hours of challenging gameplay are guaranteed!

More than 2500 years ago, the emperor of the Qin dynasty decided to protect his prolific provinces of northern China from the frequent barbaric invasions, building and joining several fortified fortresses. So he made an impressive series of defensive walls that stretch for over 6000 kilometres. Armies of slaves and soldiers worked for centuries following and taking advantage of the terrain. Later, the Great Wall, as it was called, was extended and fortified, until it needed an army of a million of men to defend and maintain it. Its decline coincided with the advent of the Mongols, that later ruled the widest empire of human history. They broke the wall and moved around it, conquering the whole Chinese empire. Today the ruins represent one of the most remarkable works produced by men: Chang Cheng™, the Great Chinese Wall.

Combat Commander: Battle Pack #1 - Paratroops is the first of what will be many themed scenario packs for use with the Combat Commander series of games. The theme of this first Pack is focused on the exploits of American, German and even Russian Airborne forces. CC-Paratroops features eleven new scenarios printed on cardstock, as well as four new maps. Future Battle Packs will be similarly structured and will sometimes include new counters or new cards - with themes such as "Stalingrad", "Maquisards" and "Desert Rats" to name just a few.

CC Battle Packs are NOT stand-alone games and will require ownership of one or more Combat Commander boxed games in order to be played. CC-Paratroops requires ownership of Combat Commander: Europe.

An interesting card game where players try to complete three canoes using various cards with parts of the canoes on them. These include: Indians or empty sections of the canoe, Prey or Booty (Birds, Skins, Tobacco, Firewater, Teepees, Powder Kegs), Hunters (Bear hunter, Buffalo hunter, Cowboy, Gold prospector, Lumberjack, Soldier), Hunters Prey (Bear, Buffallo, Horse, Gold, Log, Cannon {each prey coming split on two cars}), Medicine Man, and Totem Pole.

Players strive to finish the game with the most valuable canoes where length of completed canoes, prey and booty, Hunter with Prey and special cards all add to your score.
