Your ship is running at full power and the engines are set for half-impulse. Photons are pre-loaded with anti-matter and power is available for the phaser banks. Batteries are standing by to reinforce the shields.

There is the enemy! A crafty Klingon in a D7 Battlecruiser has charged across the border, ignoring your orders to stop or withdraw. He is going to do a fly-by at 80,000 kilometers and tactical intelligence says his disruptors are fully armed!

Swing your ship directly into his path. He will learn that going head-to-head with a photon-armed cruiser is not a good career move, and you're hardly going to give him a "drive by" shot at your ship and let him get out of range.

Fire photons! Fire Phasers! His shields are down, but your own shields held at least for now. The Klingon turns and heads back for the border, a string of insults sneering over subspace.

This product does not have the one-inch counters, hard-mounted maps, or many of the ships from Federation Commander: Klingon Border, but does give you everything you need to learn the game, fly hundreds of space battles, and participate in tournaments. You can obtain dozens of extra ships from the free Communique pdf downloads, and any of booster packs 0-12 will work with this product.

This product contains every part of Federation Commander: Klingon Border which is not found in Federation Commander: Academy. The point is for people who bought Federation Commander: Academy to be able to easily upgrade to the complete game experience. Included are the one-inch counters, six-hard mounted map boards, and 14 ship cards.

For those who already have Klingon Border, this discounted package (in a bag, not packed for retail but stores can special order it) includes the non-duplicated parts of Romulan Border, such as the counters, ship cards, reference cards, and a special ship/scenario book.

This packet does not include the hard-mounted maps, the box, marker, dice, or paperclips.

An expansion for ROMULAN BORDER, this product will also work with KLINGON BORDER.

This product adds 16 new ships (Ore Carrier; Fed Strike Cruiser, and Battle Frigate; Romulan King Eagle, Snipe, KC9R dreadnought, KF5R destroyer, SparrowHawk Light Cruiser, FireHawk heavy cruiser; Gorn Light Cruiser, Heavy Battlecruiser, Heavy Destroyer, Medium Cruiser, Strike Cruiser; and the Space amoeba which isn't really a ship but let's not be picky) and several more scenarios (Surprise Reversed, And to the Republic, Art of Duty, Encounter at Denebola, Yefimov's Anabasis, Magnificent Panzers, Morkedian Death March, Shield of the Federation, Practice Practice and THEN what?) to the game system.

Contents include 16 page ship-scenario guide, 40 one-inch and 108 half-inch counters, two map panels (asteroids!), and sixteen new ship cards (listed above).

Three things about the Tholians:

Battleships Attack is an attack-module expansion for the Federation Commander: Klingon Border game. It will contain rules, counters, and two new asteroid map panels. As the name suggests, the module focuses on battleships, which Amarillo Design Bureau (ADB) describes as "the largest warships in the universe." Battleships will contain seven double-sided ship cards. At 8.5 x 11 inches, they will be significantly larger than the standard cards in order to better reflect the capabilities of these massive ships. An additional 8.5 x 11 card will be a star base card.

New enemies, and new allies!

The Hydrans attack the Klingons with a triple threat: short-ranged gatlings and fusions, long-ranged hellbores, and fast-turning Stinger Fighters.

The Lyrans, using disruptors and phasers and their unique expanding sphere generator, join the Klingons.

The LDR, a neutral faction of the Lyrans, remain aloof from the war, acquiring Hydran gatling technology.

The WYN fanatically defend their rich (and radioative) homeland.
