Eldar

The Eldar Craftworlds - massive drifting starships that are home to the last survivors of a race that once ruled the galaxy - are scattered across the stars. Now the Eldar teeter upon the precipice of annihilation and must battle constantly against the other races of the galaxy, even resorting to piracy in their fight to avoid extinction. The Codex: Eldar contains the complete Eldar army list, which allows you to choose your forces for a battle. Also included is information detailing all the weapons, vehicles and wargear used by the Eldar. It also has a full-colour section packed with tips and advice on collecting, painting and playing with an Eldar army.

Cloudstrike Squadrons are famous for their stealth and lethal fusillades of heavy weapons fire. A Cloudstrike Squadron's target will often meet its doom before it even realises it is under threat. This plastic box set contains 3 Eldar Falcon Grav Tanks and 1 Vehicle Command frame.

The Dark Reapers represent the War God in his role as the Destroyer. They are perhaps the most sinister and lethal of all Aspect Warriors and their armour is adorned with symbols of death and destruction. Dark Reapers are chosen in squads of between 3 and 5 models.

Highly skilled with their shuriken catapults, Dire Avengers are deadly on the attack and immovable in defence. Dire Avengers are chosen in squads of between 5 and 10 models. A single model in the squad may be upgraded to an Exarch. The box contains enough parts to make 10 Dire Avengers including one Exarch.

With its potent armament and ability to carry a small squad of fighters, the Falcon is designed to take the fight to the enemy, or to extricate the warriors should resistance prove too fierce. Falcons are chosen as single models. A box contains a single Falcon model.

Just as the Farseers guide the fate of the craftworlds, so they guide their armies in times of war. A Farseer can uncover the enemy's intentions, calculate the likely effects of his clumsy attacks, and guide him to his doom. Farseers are often accompanied in battle by a bodyguard of Warlocks. Warlocks are Seers who once trod the Path of the Warrior, and it is their previous experience as warriors that enables them to harness their destructive impulses in battle.

The Fire dragons are axperts at close quarter fighting, where their fusion guns can destroy almost any foe, vehicle or fortification, no matter how well armoured. This boxed set contains 5 Fire Dragons and 1 Fire Dragon Exarch.

This dedicated anti-tank vehicle uses the most advanced forms of laser technology ever seen. Its powerful prism cannon can blast apart armoured vehicles and cut through swathes of infantry. Fire Prism Grav Tanks are chosen as single models. A box contains one Fire Prism Grav Tank.

In times of need those taught the ways of war form squads of Guardian. In this way they defend their dying civilisation. A single heavy weapon platform may be added to Eldar Guardian squads for additional firepower. The platform has a number of weapon options to suit the situation including a Bright Lance, Missile Launcher, Scatter Laser or Shuriken Cannon. This boxed set contains 8 Guardians and a heavy weapon platform with two crew members.

For the warrior dancers of the Harlequins, there is no distinction between art and war. Followers of the cunning deity known as the Laughing God, they are the strangest and most inscrutable of all the Eldar. Armed with a variety of weapons including the devastating Fusion Pistol and the vicious Harlequins Kiss. Sometimes accompanied by a Troupe Master, Shadowseer and a Death Jester, the Harlequins are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. This boxed set contains 1 Troupe Leader, 2 Harlequins with Fusion Blaster, 2 with Harlequins Kiss and 1 standard Harlequin Trouper.

Jetbikes combine high speed with incredible manoeuvrability, making them ideal craft for launching rapid hit-and-run attacks. Jetbikes are chosen in squads of between 3 and 10 models. A box contains a single Eldar Jetbike.

Swooping Hawks specialise in bringing death to anyone, no matter who they are. Their wings allow them to swiftly move anywhere on the battlefield, picking of the enemy with a hail of energy bolts. This boxed set contains 5 Eldar Swooping Hawks and 1 Swooping Hawk Exarch.

Vypers are highly mobile weapons platforms, capable of laying down a withering fire even at high speed. Their speed more than makes up for their light armour. Vyper Jetbikes are chosen in squads of between 1 and 3 models. A box contains a single Vyper model.

War Walkers are used in rough terrain, to scout out enemy positions. Its two heavy weapons provide a considerable arsenal for its size, but it lacks the armour to fight at the centre of an attack. War Walkers are chosen in squads of between 1 and 3 models. The boxed set contains 1 War Walker.

The Warp Spider Aspect Warriors use their warp jump generators to materialise next to their foes and attack, slipping away again before the enemy can retaliate. Warp Siders are chosen in squads of between 5 and 10 models. This boxed set contains 5 Warp Spiders, including a Warp Spider Exarch.

Towering over its foes, the Wraith lord is controlled by the essence of one of the craftworld's mightiest warriors. Able to be equipped with a wide variety of Heavy Weapons, Assault Weapons and even a close combat weapon the Wraithlord is an extremely versatile component in the Eldar battleplan. This boxed set contains one Wraithlord.

Warlocks are psykers who can use their powers to effect the outcome of battle or improve the fighting skills of those around them. Each Farseer in your army allows you to take up to 5 Warlocks. A blister contains a single random Warlock model.

The Eldar Avatar is the living incarnation of a God. When led by the Avatar the Eldar become filled with thoughts of bloodshed and its presence inspires them to great acts of valour. Your army may only include a single Avatar. Each box contains 1 Avatar model.
