Dwarfs

The Dwarfs are the most tenacious and determined warriors of the Warhammer world. Their mountain holds are under constant pressure from Orcs, Goblins and Skaven so they must frequently march out to defend their homes and hoards. Even in defeat they record and remember evvery affront and will miss no opportunity to settle their grudges with the edge of an axe.

Bolt Throwers are simply larger versions of the crossbow, able to fire heavier bolts over greater distances. The Bolt Thrower remains an important part of the Dwarf arsenal because it can be built and maintained cheaply and is accurate enough to bring down monsters such as Wyverns or Trolls with a well-judged shot.

Only the most expert Engineers have the range of skills needed to make a proper cannon. They can be made quickly in brass, of course, with a simple mould and a wooden frame, but sooner or later they will crack like the shoddy things they are. Only a master can make a gun from steel because only a master can make the machines and tools that will make the cannon. This boxed set can be used to construct either a Dwarf Cannon or an Organ Gun.

The Flame Cannon is a deadly weapon capable of inflicting extreme damage at short ranges. It is a brave Dwarf who volunteers to crew this extraordinary cannon, as there is a strong chance that when the flammable concoction is set alight the cannon will instantaneously explode. Grudge Throwers were originally simple stone throwers, used to command the approaches to the Dwarf holds. It was during the War of Vengeance that the practice of inscribing grudges on the rocks to be used as ammunition developed, so great was the fury of the Dwarfs at the betrayel of the Elves.

The Gyrocopter is best used to speed ahead of your main force, harrying the enemy with their steam guns, and drawing enemy units away from the main Dwarf force. This blister contains one figure.

Ironbreakers guard the deep abandoned tunnels from the numerous dark creatures that would otherwise invade the hold. They spend much of their time below ground in the deepest, least visited parts of the stronghold. This box set contains 5 figures.
